Hi there. This is mainly a portfolio site for a game developer named Aaron (that’s me). If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, great! Here you can find information and media related to past works, both professional and otherwise, as well as a reasonably up-to-date resume.
Most recently, I partnered with a small visuals studio in beautiful Austin, TX, to handle all technical development and considerations on two pretty epic industrial VR projects. I spent the four years leading up to that as the Technical Director for Kingdom Games, where I oversaw the concept-to-launch cycle of several titles to PC and PS4. Prior to that, I helped Hellfire Games launch an award-winning game to PlayStation Home, worked for an astronaut at Portalarium, and if you go far enough back, started out at Simutronics making online RPGs with no pictures. I also maintain my own side company for contract audio and programming as Rogue Operative Studios, through which I purportedly also self-publish games.
While my true passion is gameplay programming, I try to take a “jack of all trades except mostly art although I’m getting better at the technical side of that” approach to game development, having handled audio, design, programming, and team leadership throughout my career, and I’m happiest when afforded the opportunity to do all four. If you’re interested in talking to me about that, by all means, let me know.
